48 Hours in Barcelona

Barcelona is a city I’ve been lucky enough to visit several times over the years, yet every trip feels completely different. Whether it’s the incredible architecture, Mediterranean atmosphere or simply wandering its vibrant streets, it’s a city that always draws me back.

This visit was the start of our holiday before boarding a cruise, giving us 48 hours to soak up everything the city has to offer. From iconic landmarks and fantastic food to relaxing by the beach, here’s how we spent our time, along with where we stayed and a few honest thoughts from another memorable visit.

24 Hours in Lytham

Lytham is a charming Lancashire seaside town that perfectly combines a relaxed coastal atmosphere with elegant streets, beautiful views and one of the UK’s most enjoyable summer festivals.

Our visit was centred around seeing Teddy Swims at Lytham Festival, giving us 24 hours to explore the town, enjoy the seafront and experience everything this coastal gem has to offer. Here’s how we spent our time, along with where we stayed and a few honest thoughts from our visit.
